KUDOCHI sauna Ueno-Yushima is a fully private sauna in Yushima, Bunkyo, in the Ueno area of Tokyo, open 24 hours. Mixed-gender groups cannot share a room here (official FAQ: same gender only in each room). Mixed-gender groups can enter the building together but book separate rooms; LGBTQ guests are asked to contact the venue. Couples should check a branch that allows mixed groups, such as Roppongi.
Prices are per room. Prices include tax (official commerce disclosure). Reservations only: register on the official booking site, choose a date and room, and pay by credit card in advance; walk-ins are not accepted. You can cancel or change free of charge up to 24 hours before your start time; after that you cannot cancel, and no-shows are not refunded. Bookings open about two weeks ahead, twice a month (for the 1st–15th and for the 16th to the end of the month). Arriving late does not extend your end time. You can enter 5 minutes before your slot (there is no waiting area) with a QR code; the reception is unstaffed. Guests who have been drinking cannot use the facility (facility terms). The official site says nothing about tattoos.
